Thankfully though, most of the standard running routes are pretty easy to follow as they are on the main paths of Central Park. Even as a New Yorker myself, who has been in Central Park hundreds of times, it can get quite confusing. There are hundreds of pathways that wind their way all throughout the park. Now, due to the sheer size of the park, things can get a bit tricky if you do not know where you are going. The park has several running route options to choose from, and depending on what you are looking for, there should be something out there for you.
